It's October, 2025. I've finished curating the long vowel booklets, so I'm proud to announce the first prototype of the Word Garden is now complete. Here's the whole array!

I've done a little clean-up in the short vowels, making sure I haven't missed words on the periphery. I was especially pleased to add a booklet with "nothing" in it.

Surprisingly, the long and short vowels each have almost exactly the same number of active cells. There are 120 booklets in the long vowel section, at the top of the photo. There are 119 booklets in the short vowel section, assuming you're willing to count a few one-pagers like "hooves" and "the a uh."
