The homeowner hoped to transform this narrow one-car garage into a comfortable space for family on extended visits. It was an interesting slot of space to work with—38’ from front to back and 13’-6” high at the center, but less than eleven feet wide. Because it was so close to the lot line, we would have to eliminate the side windows.
